Thousands of families have been torn apart due to deportation and many more continue to be every year. Courts in the United States have been extremely reluctant to utilize on international human rights law to overturn deportation decisions, even when family relationships are very strong and compelling. Regrettably no attention is paid to the large number of children who end up alone as a result of deported immigrants.


Jocelyn and her five siblings is one of these families.
